Motion Design Love -

Well it’s another week in Motion Graphics, Motion Design Love was mentioned on AE Tuts and we have another great roundup of links from the motion design community.  This week, we have reference tables for Sub D modeling from Hello Luxx, Nick Vegas of Greyscale Gorilla talks about the business side of design, there’s some great tutorials from AE Tuts, the new site from Red Giant, some colour theory from Tutorial 9, and a great video from Matt Frodsham. Tim Clapham from Hello Luxx Posted a link to some great tables for 3D Modelling, if you do a lot of 3D or even if your just starting out then these are probably some really useful references for you, go check them out.

GreyScale Gorilla

Nick Vegas posted another great video and blog post, this time about the ‘business side of design’.  The business side of design is probably as important as being able to create designs in the first place, so if you want to here some of Nick’s views of the business side of design then go check the video out.

AE Tuts

As always, AE Tuts posts some great tutorials and round up’s.  Motion Design Love also got included in the 52 Twitter people you should be following round up! Thanks to Topher Welsh for including us!  Tutorials from AE Tuts this week include some great quick tips on understanding memory and multiprocessing in After Effects.

Red Giant People

I you haven’t seen Red Giant People yet then go check it out now, an official  site from Red Giant it allows user of Red Giant’s software to share their presets with the rest of the motion graphics community! Go submit yours today or just browse the presets available!

Tutorial 9

This article from Tutorial 9 isn’t a an article about motion graphics, but it is about something that will influence and help your motion graphics, colour theory.  If your just starting out or if you need a refresher on colour theory then it’s worth checking this article out.
