Discovered a great new link this week from RenderKing, the site isn’t in english but that doesn’t matter as they’ve released a great set of presets for Video Copilots Optical Flares plugin, check out the video below and if you like the look of them then get downloading!

Justin Young

Justing Young from e.brain of of Justin Young posted a great video on keeping your projects organised in After Effects.  I know keeping projects organised isn’t something neccesarily exciting but it’s certainly something that will makes your prjects easier to handle, update and potentially get more work done.  Check out the video below.

Koi Koi Koi

I discovered this nice roundup of amazing showreel videos from Koi Koi Koi, the visual arts magazine this week, it’s a round up that was posted a number of months ago but it contains some links to some fantastic motion graphic and visual fx reels, definitely worth checking for inspiration

Perception NYC

Nick Campbell of GreyScale Gorilla posted a link to Perception NYC, the creators of the motion graphics for Iron Man 2.  Perception NYC have done a great breakdown of a lot of their graphics they did for Iron Man 2 and they look absolutely fantastic.  It’s definitely worth checking out for the ‘Awe’ factor.

Voxel Effect

Robert Legar posted a great a great voxel effect preset on the motion exchange this week.  If you’ve been wondering how to do this voxel effect then go and download the preset for Cinema 4D and get creating!
