Motion Design Love -

It’s been another week in motion graphics and design, and another week of great links! This week we have a nice little animated video from the Labour Party in the United Kingdom, we also have a great tutorial from AE Tuts on how to create the sherlock holmes title style, also from AE Tuts we have an article from Topher Welsh on his coverage at NAB 2010, there’s also another great tutorial from Nick Campbell and lastly we have the launch of the Adobe Creative Suite 5 this week, including a brand new 64 bit only version of After Effects.

Labour Party

Saw this nice little animated video the other day on Youtube, it’s a nice simple hand drawn type of style, and whether your political or not it;s a nice little video to watch.

AE Tuts

There’s been two great articles posted this past week on AE Tuts, firstly is a tutorial on how to create the look of the sherlock holmes end credits.  Check out the preview below to see the final effect.

GreyScale Gorilla

Another great tutorial from Nick Campbell this week on how to create a glass bock type effect in Cinema 4D.  Have a look at the preview below.

Adobe

Finally, Adobe this past week announced a brand new version of the creative suite, with an announcement that the version of After Effects is to be 64 bit only and also features some new effects/tools in the form of Rotobrush to make it even easier to rotoscope in After Effects.
