Motion Design Love -

It’s been an another week in motion design, and another week of great links.  This week we have links from the CG society, a visual fx breakdown from Harry Potter, Studio AKA’s BBC Winter Olympics trailer, Nick Campbell’s Matrix style effect in Cinema 4D, Motion Graphics made with programming from Smashing magazine, the co-writer of district 9 speaks at Vancouver Film School and there’s an interview with Topher Welsh from Mograph TV.

Oscar-nominated co-writer of District 9 Terri Tatchell visited the Vancouver Film School students to discuss District 9 and her career.

Studio AKA

Studio AKA do a nice little showcase of the recent Winter Olympic spot they did for the BBC.  I really like the general look and feel of this spot, something different for the BBC.

Smashing Magazine

Smashing Magazine did a nice round up this week of motion graphics created using programming, if your interested or into this sort of thing it’s worth reading.
